OUR

STORY

The Ability Collective was founded by Rachel Westby in 2021, with the support of close friends and family, to create a vibrant, inclusive community hub on the Sunshine Coast.

With over a decade of experience in the disability sector, Rachel saw a gap in services where people in need required a space to build meaningful, authentic connections, maintain friendships develop skills, and foster independence in a creative environment.

The Ability Collective was born from this vision, offering a more holistic approach by collaborating with other service providers to meet the diverse needs of participants.

Today, The Ability Collective is a buzzing community of excitement and collaboration, sparking friendships, networks, and opportunities for participants, their supporters, and industry professionals alike.
