This Privacy Statement outlines how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and the NDIS Practice Standards.

• NDIS number and plan details
• Health and medical information relevant to the services we provide
• Emergency contact information
We collect this information directly from participants, their legal representatives, or, with consent, from third parties such as NDIS coordinators.
Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
Personal information is used solely to deliver and improve our services, ensure participant safety, and meet legal requirements. We may share information with:
• Relevant third parties, such as health professionals and NDIS planners, with participant or legal representative consent
• Contracted service providers who support our operations, under strict privacy obligations
TAC does not use personal information for any purpose other than those disclosed, unless required by law or additional consent is obtained.
Storage and Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, or unauthorized access. This includes:
• Secure storage of electronic records with password protection and encryption
• Restricted access to physical records, stored securely in locked cabinets
Personal information is retained for a minimum of seven years in compliance with legal requirements and is securely destroyed or de-identified when no longer required.

Participants and their representatives have the right to:
• Access their personal information upon request
• Correct or update inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent for certain uses of their personal information, where applicable
