LAUREN
TAC TIMES
I was born in New South Wales, migrating to Queensland in 2008. The youngest of 4 siblings, my interests include heavy metal, Vikings, concerts and horror movies, with a major emphasis on music. My favourite holiday destination is New Zealand, where I fell in love with the culture and people of the land.
Upon graduating the SEEKability program in 2025, I secured my role as Assistant Facilitator at The Ability Collective in Baringa, where I sometimes lead art classes and contribute to TAC Times. I love being in a creative space where I can share my passions with others.
I have always felt a strong drive towards independence, preferring to take on challenges myself and tackle things head-on. Gaining independence has been a major personal goal, and it's something I take great pride in — both in my professional role and in my everyday life.
Outside of work, I'm known as a keen bowler, artist and fashion designer. You'll often find me browsing the racks at Dangerfield, gaming my way through Skyrim, or proudly wearing merch from my favourite bands. My personal style is as bold and individual as I am.
